Reno arrived Monday evening and has quickly adapted to home life! She was a little woozy Monday night as she came off the anesthetic from her spay, so she had a couple unavoidable accidents due to nausea - but since then she's been a perfect houseguest.
This gorgeous redhead has been learning our deck stairs - slowly but surely. In the meantime, we've taken her out on the leash so she'll be comfortable doing her business both ways. She's very calm and hasn't had any altercations with the resident hounds.
We're fighting the good fight to keep her off the couch - she definitely feels it's her calling! Reno is a pro at relaxing, and goes in her crate when we leave with ease (no whining!) She also loves treats and we've been trying to teach her to catch them in the air.
In our many times fostering, it's rare to see a dog so absolutely "good" right off the track - but we truly feel Reno can only get better! Why not consider sponsoring her via
401-Grey - or adding her to your pack? The holidays are coming, you know...
We'll update with pics later - for now, here's her
racing statistics. Quite the champ!
